Locally Owned and Operated<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Evans Excavating is locally owned and operated. Evans & Evans Excavating was originally
formed by father & son, Rodney (Rod) & Robert (Bob) Evans in 1980. They spent over 29 years
serving Missoula & the surrounding area with excavation services from residential to
commercial projects. In 2009 Rod retired and Bob continued the business under the name of
Evans Excavating, LLC.
Bob is a 3 rd generation excavation contractor and has a tremendous amount of experience to
offer. Bob starting working for his grandfather at the young age of 13 learning the operations
of a gravel pit that his father & grandfather operated, along with learning to read construction
plans, work up construction bids and learn to operate the various excavation equipment
needed for this type of work. In 2023 Bob\u2019s son, Ryan Anderson decided to join Evans
Excavating as a partner. Ryan spent many summer vacations working for Evans Excavating
while in High School.
Bob and Ryan are both Montana born and raised & enjoy all of what Montana has to offer.
Each take great pride in their work and strive to give each project they work on a solid
foundation base with \u201cquality work from the first scoop\u201d
Evans Excavating has experience in all avenues of the excavation field from site excavation,
demolition, utility installation both private and public, foundations, sumps & dry wells.
Our company is licensed and bonded with the City and County of Missoula.
